Your constant focus on customers and improvement is matched by the incredible team you put together at MS.

Not mentioned is their level of compassion. They never brag, but it is a customized PC Recruiter that serves as the backbone for the deployment of the uber successful Veterans Matter program, which has housed over 6000 veterans nationwide over the past decade.

All with donated time and systems; and the lent talents of Andrew Rothman.

So Bill, Gretchen, Mike, Martin and Drew, in addition to the recognition of 1000s of your customers, please add the thanks of this 6000+ formerly homeless veterans who have you and your team to thank. Onward. – ken

I suspect these sorts of tie-ins will come along as the tech solidifies and the pricing settles down. There are so many moving parts and shifting players right now that it’s hard to build reliable business and technical expectations around them. Of course, there’s also the question of how much of the process recruiters and their clients are willing to automate. Which parts of recruitment should never be left up to the machines? How will it affect fee structures when the AI starts doing taking over more of the work? Interesting times…

Mirrors what I’m thinking as to how it will be used… I dream of the day that I can speak to a candidate, take notes (or even record and Ai transcribes) the notes are auto loaded into chat-GPT, which spits out a perfect pitch based on preloaded requirements and Ai has also reformatted and branded their CV, so literally as I get off the phone, I just check and hit send to the manger…. zero admin….
So the question is, when will it be incorporated by a CRM to have that ability and functionality within the system and not have to leave, go to chat-GPT to ask these things and then copy and paste back into an email??
The time is takes to load, enter in the requirements etc you can write a 2 paragraph pitch…

The category selections are pre-defined and can’t be altered at this time – they can only be hidden. Our team based the list of categories on the ones being most widely offered in other similar marketing tools. If you have specific suggestions, you can post them into our Ideas & Requests forum in the helpdesk. It’s possible that future versions of PCR will offer more choices.

It would be really great if the notes are among the first things you see when you click on a record either in PCR or LINKEDIN. Maybe the notes would hover on the page somewhere so you could see if you have already contacted them without looking at the record itself and scrolling to the notes. This would save incredible time. There is a service I am using right now ‘Cricket Dialer’ or Dolphin and it allows me to download an excel sheet and make a list where my dialer will dial the number. If I get voice mail, I merely say: “Hello Name” and press a button and the voice mail I created prior will be left and frees me to move onto the next candidate call. Ive gotten more than 300 calls out in a day with this method. I need the rollups to work with the dialer without dowloading it to ecell and so I can leave the notes and map the legend in the rollup it self. You get these technologies together and I may come work for you and sell it as the most powerful recruiting tool on the market. (some other ideas would go in as well)

Comment on PCRecruiter Job Board by Andrew Rothman https://www.pcrecruiter.net/site/2019/01/15/job-board/#comment-142 Fri, 08 Feb 2019 14:00:38 +0000 https://www.pcrecruiter.net/site/?p=8467#comment-142 In reply to Jeff.

Firstly, the Job Board is easier for Google to access because the job list is accessible without first submitting a search form, and also the pages themselves are built with more easily indexed HTML5 standards rather than the table-based layout of the older setup. Furthermore, the Job Board supports the necessary schema tagging for Google’s “Jobs” search feature. The organic traffic from Google isn’t likely to make up for the free exposure that Indeed used to give, but we can confirm that Google is able to index and display the jobs from PCR’s customers.

Regarding the embedding into your site, it is an iframe that comes along with our Landing Pages javascript. This basically means that nobody ever lands on your job board outside of the page you’ve got it placed in on your website. The job board always appears with your web address and page around it, and we tack parameters onto the URL of your page to tell our frame what to load. To see what I mean, go to our own careers page and try to load any of those jobs in a new window… you’ll always be redirected back to the /careers/ page with the correct job loaded inside of the frame.

If you have any deeper questions about how it all ties together, let us know!

I would like to be able to access multiple sets of stage icons that are customizable for different uses for within one record type. I.e. multiple stage configurations for name record rollups.

By allowing for multiple sets of customisable stages to be toggled between in a single record type (e.g. name record), this would allow for better uses of the roll-up functions versatility.

E.g. A name record roll up list that is for candidate contacts, and a name record roll up that is for lead contacts would benefit from different stage icons that can be linked to unique automations.

You can do that by adding the ‘Dialer’ column(s) to your layout. The phone numbers themselves cannot be clicked directly because it would interfere with our ability to record activity about the call, and also because clicking a row in the Rollup always loads the record. However, adding a Dialer creates a click-to-call icon that does what you’re describing.

For example, when using a rollup list for calls, I would like to be able to filter candidates with cell phone numbers. It is important to me the names remain part of a larger list while being able to filter specifically those with numbers.

So with RingCentral, I could click the number on the roll up screen and dial out or text without having to open the record.

You can check the version by going to the SYSTEM menu and searching for “About” using the search box in the left column, but essentially if your login URL starts with “www2.PCRecruiter” you’re always going to be on the current release.

The system does offer multiple languages, and I know we have at least one office in Canada using it now, so I would say “yes.” For specifics about your part of the world I’d recommend contacting IBM directly at the email or website noted above. PCRecruiter doesn’t have any particular restrictions on where it can be used from our end.

Hi Eric – Our QA team does their best to catch issues before release, but there will always be some areas that behave unexpectedly to changes under the hood. Fortunately, the developers are at the ready in the days following an update and generally find and patch major issues very quickly. We do appreciate your reporting the problems to our support team. They should be handled soon!
